We get these questions a lot and you may be asking them, too.

Selling

What do you buy?

We buy a little bit of everything for Women, Men, Kids, home decor, and furniture! Our buyers are looking for items showing little to no wear and styles from the last two years. Our needs also fluctuate based on how much inventory we have, what kinds of items have sold best for us, and current trends.

How much do you pay?

We pay 30-35% of our selling prices as cash on the spot. If we are consigning your items, you can receive up to 60% of the selling price after your items sell.

Where do I drop off?

If coming in the front entrance, the buyback station is to the back left corner (to the left of the registers). If coming in from the back entrance, make a right and walk straight to our buyback station.

How should I bring in my items?

You can bring them in a bag, box, bin, on hangers... however you like! To keep wait times down, our buyers will go through your drop off quickly and we do not re-fold items, so we suggest bringing them in unfolded.

Why were you not able to use my items?

If we passed on items you brought in to sell, the most common reason is because they were styles that were showing too much wear and no longer sell well for us. We encourage you to always ask us questions so we can discuss your drop off with you and share some tips.

What happens to my items you could not use if I don't come back by closing time?

Unless prior arrangements were made to hold your go-backs (items we could not use) past closing, they will be donated after we close that day. Every day, a local charity/organization picks up donated items.

I am interested in selling furniture. How do I show it to you?

For furniture and larger pieces, the best way to get a quote is to email us at sandysresale1@gmail.com. Please send photos with information such as brands, how much you paid, when the items were purchased, and if there is any wear.

Will you come to my house to see what you will buy?

We do not do house calls for buying. Please email us photos and details to sandysresale1@gmail.com if the items are larger or you have a lot to sell.

Will you pick up furniture from my house?

We do not pick up furniture, but we can suggest a few reasonably priced movers to you that we have recommended over the years.

Do you buy wedding dresses, formal wear, and men's suits?

Unfortunately, we do not.

 

Shopping

Do you do returns or exchanges?

Due to the nature of resale, all sales are final except electronics which may be returned within seven days with copy of original receipt.

Will you hear offers on items?

You are welcome to make an offer on furniture and luxury items. We do not mark items down if they have been with us for less than 30 days.

What's on sale?

We (almost) always have a sale going on! There will be signs throughout the store displaying the sale, but if you are unsure, please ask us during your visit.

Do you offer layaway?

Yes, we do! We offer 14 day layaways with a 25% non-refundable deposit. All items put on layaway (including furniture) must be taken with you the day they are paid off.

Can I buy something you posted online?

Yes! Send us a DM on Facebook/Instagram or give us a call. If the item is available, we can email you a PayPal invoice and arrange for the item to be shipped if necessary. Our shipping fee is a flat $9.95 (unless otherwise stated).

Do you deliver?

We do not deliver, but we can suggest a few reasonably priced movers to you that we have recommended over the years. If you buy furniture outright, we can hold it for you for three days. If you have furniture on layaway, it must be taken with you the day it is paid off.

Are the items pictured on your website for sale?

They no longer are. The photos on our website are helpful examples of the kinds of items we buy and sell.
